The films producer, Nicolas Schmerkin, said after its Oscar win that the film is not about America. Its about our modern Western world Its about the way we live and the way we react to these logos.? The brain can register 14 logos in less than one second. Making the logos characters with sets and props is about what were living.
What a great story! I have watched this three? times! Beautiful animation , I especially like the funny bits, like the intermission where Ravana gets 15 sodas for all his heads, and the whole part with the shadow puppet narrators arguing amiably; really nice ending too.

this is a great feature. I am hindu and female, and love this perspective of the story. I always thought Rama was? too concerned with what other people thought of his actions rather than just doing the right thing by his woman. As for Sita, I guess she couldn’t envision a life without him because she was dependant on him, she had no credit rating! wives need to know that they need to maintain fiscal independance even in a “good” marriage, you never know the door will hit you in the ass.
